To begin, simply complete our sign-up form with your organisation’s details and initial job role. Our system will provide an initial indication of whether your requested job role is eligible for a DBS check and the potential level of check required.

Once submitted, our team will assess your company and role eligibility. If we have any queries, we’ll contact you directly. Once approved, you’re ready to start requesting checks in just five simple steps.

 

5 Simple Steps to Request a DBS Check

Step 1: Start a Check

Log in to our system and initiate a DBS check by selecting the job role and entering the applicant’s first name, surname, and email address. Our system will then send an email invitation to the applicant, guiding them through the process.

Step 2: Applicant Completes the Forms

The applicant will be required to complete two parts of the form:

  • Personal Information: This includes details such as name, date of birth, address history, and more.
  • Document Selection: The system will guide the applicant on which acceptable documents they can provide for verification.

Step 3: Employer Verifies Documents

Step 4: We Handle the Rest

Once you have verified the applicant’s ID documents, we will submit the application to the DBS. You can track the progress of the application directly through our system as it moves through various stages.

Step 5: Receive the Results

Once the DBS check is complete, we will notify you. You can log in to our system to view the results. The applicant will receive their DBS certificate by post at their registered home address.

 

What About Applicants?

  • The applicant will be informed when their application is submitted to the DBS and can also track its progress on our system.
  • Once the DBS issues a result, the applicant is informed but is not shown the outcome on our system—they will receive the physical DBS certificate directly.

 

Payment Process

Payment is required once you have verified the applicant’s ID documents. You can make a payment via card or use our pre-payment wallet for added convenience.
